They gain the opportunity to discover their true voices and they gain the inspiration to dedicate themselves to working professionally as artists. Developed by national treasure Jean Shelton and Robert Elross. They brought with them from New York an extensive Read More knowledge of method acting from their relationships with Stella Adler (responsible for Brando and De Niro), Harold Clurman (commonly thought of as the finest mind in the American Theatre), and Broadway actor/director Wendell Phillips, among others. Matt Shelton has assembled the finest staff available and thoroughly trained them to teach Jean's acting technique and multi-disciplinary programs using techniques from some of the finest minds in the country. Beginning through professional levels. This program can also be tailored for working professionals. A majority of our students have full-time employment and are able to complete the program. Low monthly payment plans are available.

Film Actors Program

1 - 2 year in-depth study of the art and craft of acting as it relates to cinematic form. For persons committed to focusing on gaining the necessary skills to work in the film industry as a professional actor. Covers film, television, commercials, and casting. This program can also be tailored for working professionals. A majority of our students have full-time employment and are able to complete the program. Low monthly payment plans are available.

2 year immersion into the art and craft of acting as it relates to all medium including theatre, film, television, voice-over, commercials, and industrials. For persons deeply committed to working professionally as an actor. Three courses per week for 2 years. This program can also be tailored for working professionals. A majority of our students have full-time employment and are able to complete the program. Low monthly payment plans are available.

Beginning Acting

Fundamental actor training available to actors at all levels of experience including beginners. Focuses on beginning acting techniques within the scene study or monologue format. Class concludes with performances before an invited audience.

This is an advanced acting class that ensures the actor has a complete process for creating a role. Principles of directing, and the artists creative will are expanded. Advance through professional levels work out in an environment of creativity and accountability. Scene study and monologue format. Class concludes with performances before an invited audience.

Film Acting

Focus is on the technique of acting specifically for film and television. Students discover the art and craft of cinematic performance through hands on applications, lecture, theory, and craft.
A prepared 1-2 min monologue is required for second class.
